Hey Guys! I wanted to start at threat for those who have applied or been accepted to Georgia Baptist College of Nursing for 2015. I applied in October and was accepted last week. The reason I heard back so soon is because I have completed all of my prerequisite classes. Has anyone else applied or heard a response yet? If you all don't mind we could share our stats as well (Teas and GPA) that would be helpful to others viewing the thread. I applied with a 3.6 and a C on my teas. I was afraid that I was going to be denied but I think my essay helped out a ton. I was going to retake a class or my teas but they accepted me before I had to go through all of that. I hope to hear back from you all as we begin this process together. Thank you all so much and good luck to everyone.
Hey Coleduck,
Awesome, I've satisfied every course except for Religion & Nutrition. I would take them during the summer, but I've made a commitment to a job during that time. I will be transferring from Atlanta Metropolitan College. Not sure if you mention this, but did you already take the TEAS? If so, how was it for you? Oh, KSU has an amazing program (word of mouth..) did you apply there as well?
Aw! Really? Those are some great stats. I've applied to GBCN, but I'm not sure if I'll continue the process, you know this whole nursing school transition is a bit overwhelming, as a transfer student. I'm applying to about 3 schools but the requirements of all 3 are totally different, which means more classes to take, money for exams, etc.
Hi All!
I'm currently at KSU and I'm applying to programs for Fall 2015. I was looking into GBCN; is it correct that the fall application deadline is 4/1/15? Also, are you only required to complete the college of nursing application rather than apply as a transfer student to Mercer first? I just wanted to make sure since every other nursing program requires that you get accepted to the university first :) I have also applied to fall 2015 BSN programs at KSU, North Georgia, and West Georgia, but I'm super nervous about getting accepted anywhere since my stats are not ideal (GPA: 3.15 TEAS: 94.7)
Good luck to everyone and congrats to those accepted!

Hey MackKay! Yes I will be a transfer student. I'm currently at Kennesaw State. Spring semester I will be completing the four additional courses for GBCN. Where will you be transferring from?
