George Washington ABSN Fall 2014

I just submitted my application to GWU for the ABSN program that will start in the Fall of 2014 and wanted to start a thread for it. Has anyone else applied recently? If so, has anyone heard early from admissions?

Im still waiting for mine to go to committee. It is taking longer than 1-3 weeks for it to move there I submitted it at the end of the deadline (missed the rolling admission part) my verification date was march 13 (dunno how you find that out except contacting them) and last week was told it would be roughly 2 weeks till it moved to committee

Today makes it 3 weeks and 1 day since I received the initial email from GWU.

I don't think I'm going to get response/decision until late April or early May.

This waiting is awful....

Musing 2014

the wait is killing me i refresh my email all the time as if thats gonna help.. i believe it is 1-3 weeks from submission that cas takes to verify and send it to gwu rather than it going to committee.. if you email them they will tell you what your verification date was (they send the applications in order of that date rather than cas submission) but they dont give that much info after that but if we all do it then maybe we can workout where they are at

Hey all,

Congrats to everyone who received their acceptance! I also am waiting for the email stating my application has been referred to the admissions committee. My verification date was March 8 and I called last week to inquire and whoever helped me said that we should be getting an email soon!

I submit my application on NursingCas in early February, and it was verified on 2/27.

Last week (4/9) I received an e-mail saying my application has been (FINALLY) passed onto the committee for final review and decision. So, hoping by chance I find out something today!

I was accepted last yr but deferred because my husband and I still live in Hawaii. I will be joining you this fall, though :) He is in the Army and we'll be a little south of Richmond, but i am tryinv to make it work and looking at having roomate at school if anyone knows of others looking.
