George Washington ABSN Fall 2014

I just submitted my application to GWU for the ABSN program that will start in the Fall of 2014 and wanted to start a thread for it. Has anyone else applied recently? If so, has anyone heard early from admissions?

I finally got an email today stating my application is being referred to the admissions committee. So I guess I'll have a decision sometime in May.

Hi all! I am brand new to this site. I also applied to GW for Fall 2014 and I received an email on the 22nd that my application had been sent for decision. I live in DC and go to GWU currently for my MPH in maternal and fetal health so I really hope to be able to stay in the area and attend GW for nursing. Congrats to those already accepted... I hope to join you soon! fingers crossed!

Is there anyone left who hasn't found out anything yet? I keep asking and they keep saying my application is still under review. I submitted it February 15 so I don't know why so many other people who applied after me have already found out :(

I also have not heard anything. I'll be going to Georgetown in the Fall, but it is pretty outrageous to be forced to wait this long. I applied February 10. The best guess I have is that we've either been wait listed or denied... Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone out there! Good luck, cshep91! Hope you hear good news!!

You should check your spam folder. I applied in early February as well and I got an email saying I had been wait listed. However, I luckily noticed that all emails I got from them (including the one when my app was going to review) all were delivered into my spam folder despite adding their email to my contacts and saying "not spam" :(
