Hi, I am wondering if anyone applied to GMU's FNP program for Fall 2016. Or if anyone is currently enrolled. I am applying and feel a bit nervous/noncompetitive when considering my overall GPA. The website states they want you to have a 3.0 out of 4.0 for the last 60 hours. However, I can't help but think they will also take into consideration overall GPA. Anyway, just wondering other people's thoughts/experiences with this school or admission rate. Thanks.
I haven't emailed my advisor yet. I will probably to that today. Does anyone know where we submit our official transcripts?
Im not sure, I did email my advisor a few days ago haven't received a response, I asked her about which classes I should register for and if there was any type of orientation to the program this summer. Does anybody know if we are just supposed to go ahead and register or are you all waiting for responses from advisors?
Some informational links I found that apply to our program and may help for newly admitted students.

I also found a link about information regarding graduate student orientation August 18, 2016!

I emailed my advisor last week. She was quick to respond. She sent me a sample of each semester for full time and part time. She also said we would be receiving a packet in the mail with more information about orientation, a scheduled meeting with your advisor, and signing up for classes. She was unsure about where to send transcripts. Did everyone else only submit unofficial transcripts when applying?
Hi Tanrn74,
I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and she stated that all decisions were sent to the magic portal. Sadly ours have not been updated. She said to email her again today if there was still no decision. I emailed her this am.
And I will have to say that communication can be very difficult. But that was from my experience getting my msn there.
