George Mason University FNP Fall 2016

Hi, I am wondering if anyone applied to GMU's FNP program for Fall 2016. Or if anyone is currently enrolled. I am applying and feel a bit nervous/noncompetitive when considering my overall GPA. The website states they want you to have a 3.0 out of 4.0 for the last 60 hours. However, I can't help but think they will also take into consideration overall GPA. Anyway, just wondering other people's thoughts/experiences with this school or admission rate. Thanks.

This process is a mess i see the same thing decision made but no decision.

My application has hit additional issues and my status will not update. I am still out for decision. But word through the grape vine is that I got in :) I not so secretly think the admissions people dislike me :o. But this is such an interesting situation.

Awesome! SO I guess I see you 2 ladies soon and very soon! I"m excited and nervous all together. The best part is knowing THIS IS IT!!!!! We are on our way to the end of the road of nursing. Thank you ladies for the support and constant updates! Question do the both you work full time and if so what are your plans? My family is having a meeting on Mothers day about the support I will need.

I am so glad we are starting the beginning of the end! I am going to school part time and will work part time. A lot of my MSN credits will carry over so I will just pick up with the NP courses.

I have a MSN as well so it will be great to see how it plays out! I work as a full time nurse educator in the government so my work life is sooooooo much lighter than civilian world n I'm on a compressed work schedule with every Monday off but can change it as needed . I'll try to get through!

I am gov too. I work bedside in research land and teach for a local rn program. Where are you an educator? We can PM if that is easier.

My adviser has not returned my emails about which courses Full-time FNP students are supposed to register for Fall, did anyone else hear back about which courses to register for?

I haven't heard back about classes, but my advisor told me there is a meet and greet in June. I believe we will meet and then discuss which courses to register for.

Hello I ended up having to call more importantly give me your email there are two advisor meetings coming up they emailed it to me.
