George Mason University FNP Fall 2016

Published

Hi, I am wondering if anyone applied to GMU's FNP program for Fall 2016. Or if anyone is currently enrolled. I am applying and feel a bit nervous/noncompetitive when considering my overall GPA. The website states they want you to have a 3.0 out of 4.0 for the last 60 hours. However, I can't help but think they will also take into consideration overall GPA. Anyway, just wondering other people's thoughts/experiences with this school or admission rate. Thanks.

When I hear back from them I will update you.

You are awesome thank you so much and I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) too! Hopefully by this afternoon we can put all this to rest!

Got an email they say DNP will know tomorrow due to glitch in system! We shall see!

Ahh my email said tomorrow or Friday. But, I will believe it when I see it :)

I literally just emailed a faculty. I actually have a scholarship due by 5 pm today that could possibly pay all my tuition and books. It would hurt my heart to know I missed out due to not having a letter of acceptance. I did my part. Well let's see!

I am sorry. You might do better if you call them. Try to call the director of the DNP program. She maybe of more help.

Taren74, please call them, that is not an opportunity that should not be missed, if decisions are coming out tomorrow i would assume they have been made so call them!

Did you get a response tanrn74 ?

Hello and thank you ladies. By the grace of God they wrote me a letter for my scholarship. I did get in !!! They told me I would not get an official letter until today (meaning Friday) due to their system being messed up. Sad to say I won't believe it until I see it. This has definitely been a process. sarabeth123 please keep me updated ok:)

I am so glad you got in!!!! I also will not believe it until I see it. But, I will have to say that this is quite and issue that could/should be resolved for further classes.

I totally agree and will share my comments when we are there.

So I checked my self service for the DNP and it has changed to decision made, but I don't see anywhere where it says what the decision is. Anyone else having this issue?
