Hey guys! Just curious as to who else is currently in A&P? I just started last week and so far, I am LOVING it!! I am sure it is going to get worse. I have started good study habits so I don't get behind.

We have been to lab 2 and already used the microscope. I look forward to all of the cool things we will be doing with it. I think so far I like this class best of all. I know, call me crazy, and check back in with me in a few weeks. :chuckle

So, any other geeks out there??:roll

I'm in A&P II this semester. I like the things that we've been doing in lab. We did our hematocrit and blood type last Friday. It took a little nerve for me to prick my own finger. I really enjoyed A&P I and think that part II will be even more enjoyable.

Specializes in med/surg, new FNP.

I just started A & P last week, was a little nervous because I have heard of a lot of people failing the first time around. We had a crash course to make up for what we're going to miss on the MLK holiday but I'll be studying all that day so hopefully I'll be prepared. Lots to remember but I am excited about really learning things I'm going to need to use.

Hi there. I'm taking A&P 2 this semester. We just started class last week so I don't know yet. A lot of people told me I would enjoy it more than A&P1 and I liked that one so... we shall see. Good luck to you! :)

I will begin my A&P 2 on Wed. I am looking forward to it. I have also heard that we will enjoy A&P 2 a little more, I hope that is true.

Specializes in School, Camp, Hospice, Critical Care.

I start next Saturday. It's a nearly all day Saturday class: 8:30AM-3:00PM, lecture followed by lab. I think I'll enjoy it, but am a bit worried about how fuzzy headed I may get by around 1 or so--I'll have to bring along some high-energy lunches!

What kind of a class schedule do the rest of you have?

For me it was either all-day Saturday, or two late nights per week, 7-10PM--I *knew* I'd be too fuzzy headed in the evenings.

Well, I started A&P I this semester. The prof is enthusiastic which is pretty good...although it is weird to have a professor who is 10 years younger than me, and I'm not that old!!! I got two days a week for an hour and a half for lecture and our lab is about three hours one day a week. My first lecture test and my first lab practical are on the same day, Feb. 4th. I'll probably be a basket case as I get closer. Being the perfectionist that I am, I'm always striving for A's in both tests.

I just started A&P1 and so far it is Sweet!!!!!!!!! I anticipate it getting harder though but also looking forward to it

I've always loved the 'scope time. :)

I'm in AP2 right now. Taking that plus Microbiology and Technical Report Writing (snoozer!).

I pulled straight "A"s last semester taking AP1, Inorganic Chem and Developmental Psych. I got called a geek a few times because of that. S'okay, its us geeks that make all the money. Just ask Bill Gates. :D

Our AP1 was bones, nerves, skin, brain mostly. We do the rest, incl our cadaver cat, this semester.

I started A&PII last Monday and don't have classe tonight because school is closed for MLK, Jr. Day.

I liked A&PI a lot so I am excited about this semester. My teacher is really cool and he has been a nurse Practioner for 30 years so he promised to only teach us the stuff that we are really going to need to know and use lots of examples from his past experiences.

We are starting with the Reproductive System which is a nice way to ease into the semester.

I am taking an A & P I night class from 6:00pm till 10:00 pm. I've only been once, but I really like the professor. He's really nice! Something that is helping me is studying every day! I've replaced all my hobbies with homemade A&P flashcards. But, I'm learning!!

Taking A & P II this semester.

Lecture is online and lab meets every Saturday morning.

It is the best of both worlds. So far II is as interesting as I.

Good luck to the rest,

C
