I have to admit that I was initially a little heartbroken, because I was raised on Apples/Macs and absolutely love them, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do - I don't feel like acquiring the massive headache that comes along with format/compatibility!
I appreciate all the good advice!

It overheats, the hard drive has crashed, the floppy has crashed and it has multiple electrical probems...The thing is 1 1/2 years old and I have sent it back 4 times. Of course now the warranty has expired and the old problems are back (hard drive and floppy both crashed AGAIN !!! The turn around time on the service was great but they really never fixed the problem and would not replace the lemmon that they sold me. So now I have a $1800 piece of trash sitting in a case just collecting dust. NEVER buy a Compaq or HP !!!!!

Ive really thought it might be the "user" But I have never had trouble with any other computers. Ived tried Sony and Dell and have really been impressed with them. No more HP's or Compaqs for me...but we all know that they are one in the same...HP owns Compaq.
