I'm getting a computer soon - just wondering what everyone liked and preferred as a nursing student.

Had an HP desktop too...only lasted 2-3 years..sent it back twice for repair. Ive really thought it might be the "user" :confused: But I have never had trouble with any other computers. Ived tried Sony and Dell and have really been impressed with them. No more HP's or Compaqs for me...but we all know that they are one in the same...HP owns Compaq.

I built my own. MSI K7N2-L motherboard with Athlon 1700+ JIUHB watercooled and o/c'd to 2000. 512MB PC3200 RAM. Sapphire 9500 n/p 128MB videocard. Dual WD 80GB Caviar drives. Sony CD-RW. Thermaltake PP 420W power supply. ViewSonic 17in. monitor
