Hello everyone!
I was hoping that one of you could help define an acronym for me. I'm working on a care plan, and can't find this one anywhere:
My pt. has "increased LFT's"...hhmmmm.... it's not in my Mosby's dictionary.

I concur (I just wanted to use that phrase), it is liver function tests....I just talked about that today with my hubby! Plus, they used it on ER the other night.....see TV can be educational! HA!

It means "Liver Function Tests". I'm on cholesterol lowering meds and have my LFT's checked every 3 months. Hope this helps.

I am on INH and have to have LFTs done.
