Nursing Students General Students

Hi all,

For those of you who don't know me, I've been around for almost two years now. This summer has been really busy between work, school (got the rest of my general ed courses out of the way), and the divorce.

I am doing very well, and keeping very busy. The divorce has been a pretty tough road at times, but I'm a survivor from way back so it's all good. The final hearing is Sept. 3rd, the day before school starts, so I will start the new semester off as "officially single"!! LOL!!;)

Entering my junior year has been a real eye opener. We have exams in all three classes on the first day. They mailed the info to us last week, so I actually started the first semester studying last week.

My friends keep trying to hook me up with the "perfect" guy and I keep telling them that my life is nice and uncomplicated right now.....why do people think that you have to have a man in your life to make it complete??????

Anyway, want to wish everyone the best of luck in the upcoming semester and let you all know that I am happy and alive in Delaware. Thanks for all of your support through this divorce thing!!

Woohoo! Hey lady! Been missin' you! I am glad to hear you are doing better....

And whoever said we need a man in our lives to make it complete is a fool...you do what makes YOU complete...

God Bless you! And I'm glad you are doing all right!

email me if you want....I'm still around too! ;)

Thanks everyone! It's great to have a life of "leisure". OK..being a student maybe it's not leisure but at least it's quiet most of the time!! LOL! I'll let you all know how the hearing goes on the 3rd. He says he's not going to be there ...makes no difference to me as long as he pays the alimony he's ordered to pay!!! LOL! Thanks again!

I don't really know you either, but I've been thru a divorce, and am in nursing school(2nd yr). Hang in there, you'll know when you're ready to begin dating. I did, I've now been happily married almost 6 years (we dated only 5 weeks).

Good luck in all you do.

essarge,

I, too, just went through a divorce this last year and was in school right along with it. I agree, there is no real need for a guy to be there. It can be nice sometimes....but far from necessary.

However, now you will have the relaxed and KNOWLEDGABLE opportunity to meet the perfect guy. I did! But, glad you can focus on school now.

Good luck!
