Tired of summer school!

How many of you are already tired of summer school? We just started our 4th week and I'm already starting to feel burnt out on studying A&P all day, every day. Instead I've been hanging out here on the boards. Even though I'm behind in my reading and have a test in a couple of days.

I'd rather just enjoy the sun and hang out with my kids instead of studying. Just wondering how many of you out there are feeling the same way.

Took one summer class - World Civilization from 1500. Talk about boring.......Luckily it is only 4 weeks so my final is Monday! YEAH! Don't know how anyone manages to take alot of summer classes - My hat is off to you! I am literally wishing my summer away though because I start the nursing program this fall and am so excited I can hardly wait! :)

Gosh, remember when summer was a chance to get away from school! Would be nice if I could go back about 15 years...

Okay...just got home from my three and a half hour micro class and my hand hurts from taking so many notes, I swear if I stuck it in ice, it would steam!:p I tell you guys, once I get this degree, if ANYONE so much as thinks about disrespecting my profession or anyone in it, they will have my hard won nurse's cap shoved up their ....! Whew, feel much better, thanks guys!:D

I guess I don't feel to bad... looks like some of you have much worse than I do. Now I have to go study for my A&P test that I've been procrastinating on.

I am taking Micro and Medical Dosages (I take the final in this tomorrow morning-yeah!). My Micro teacher made the comment that we were nuts to take it in the summer. Can't wait till the end of July, this class is boring!

Looking forward to the end of August and the start of my first of four semesters of nursing classes!

All:

- Know the feeling.

- I am in 5th week of 10 week A&P I class. I also work 40+ hour per week programming job and teach 5 hour long classes on Wed & Thur nights. Yeah, it's getting old. So far, pulling a 95% avge, but am putting in around 3 to 5 hours/day hitting the books.

- Got a cable modem about 2 weeks ago. Been putting up 4 or 5 webcams (trains, planes, barges) to look at while I study.

- Another 5 weeks, then road-trip to Yellowstone Park for a week of serious trout fishing.

Gotta run,

Hey John, can I come to Yellowstone with you? Please, I'll bait your hook, carry your stuff, anything just get me away from my organic chemistry lab partner before I "accidently" blow him up! Come on, whaddya say?:D

August cannot come fast enough! Two online classes here and working 30hrs a week.

Just got done with the first of ten weeks of classes and clinical rotations. This is going to be a looooooong summer!! I'm taking Pharmacology, Intro to nursing, Health Assessment, and Nursing Fundamentals. I'm having fun, but I would rather be out enjoying the sun.

Blah! I know how you feel! I have anatomy mon-thurs for 3 hr and 15 min! It starts at 8am and I wrok full time form 330pm till 12am. So when I get up in the morning I am dragging big time! If I didn't set up my coffee the night before I don't think I would be awake enough in the morning to make it. Thankfully I only have to push the button in the morning and drink! I'll be so glad when it's over. My lectures are sooooo dull I think I am falling asleep in with my eyes open! The other day we were going over the skeletal system and 1 hr into class my coffee quit working so I went form saying humerous to just saying arm bone :)
