Hey Everyone! How would everyone like to participate in my "Final Countdown"? We are so close to the end of the semester, and then here comes Christmas Break!!!

Post the date of your last day of the semester, and how many days are left :)

Last day of the semester - December 18,

Days left till finals are over - 32

Come here and update you number of days daily! Its kinda like ripping pages off a calendar. Very Therapeutic!

3 finals down and 2 to go on Thursday and then a needed and deserved break until Jan. 7, 2002!

Took my final today!!! I'm done until January 15...a WHOLE month!!! This is a much needed break. I've been going since last January and although we had spring/fall breaks...I had studying to do, so I'm really looking forward to this break. Unofficial grades are supposed to be mailed out today; however, several postal offices are now on strike, so not sure how long it will take to get them :rolleyes: May end up having official grades before unofficial grades because of where they are mailed from. :rolleyes: Oh, well...Happy Holidays to everyone and enjoy your break, no matter how short or long.

Got home from my last final yesterday and felt like I had partied for three straight days!! LOL! All I could do is yawn!! Hubby thought it was funny. I am out until January 7th and then Winterim starts (taking Spanish I) and then on the 22nd, Spring semester starts (winterim and spring will overlap for two weeks, but that's ok). Can't wait until this next semester is started!

I see everyone seems as relieved as I am to have this semester over. What is it with the 3rd semester? If they dont kill ya they'll keep ya?

Had my last final for the semester today in nursing, and was the biggest mess. We started the final at 8am, right in the middle of the final one of the instructors from another section comes flying in the room arms flailing going on about how we cant see the answer key after we are done. They had been ok with this all semester as long as there wasnt another section still to take the test. She then proceeds to snatch it out from under 3 peoples noses that were looking at it(they were already finished and handed in the test). Then turns to the instructor sitting our exam and chastized her for bringing them in the room. So unprofessional!!! My point is they should have had this all ironed out before anyone even came in to take this test today. This kind of stuff has been goin on through this whole semester.

I will probly draft a nice letter after im done with this program. It was nothing short of a dog and pony show right in the middle of MY final. I had decided that if i didnt get at least what i needed to keep my grade someone was going to hear it.

I did at least keep my grade, but their unprofessionalism didnt help a bit. So i went and did some shopping after i got my grade. Helped relieve the stress a little, at least i want to Christmas shop now.

Hey fellowstudents:

I've got one Fundamentals Final (100 questions) on Monday and then on Tuesday (the killer) my lab performance exam. (I've practiced and practiced.....you draw from 11 skills and perform one without violating any critical behaviors.) PASS OR FAIL!!!!!

Pray for me everybody!!!:eek: :D :mad: :p :rolleyes: :cool:

If I make it through these last two days---I have four semesters left. Our class has lost only a small amount, which does not bear well for the finals as we have too many allowed going into the second semester. I'm sure there will be some major weeding out going on during the performance exams. Robin

Pharm final Mon, open book, notes. I know, it's not fair to those of you have real pharm finals. Pathophys on Tues, and Fundamentals on Wed. And then, party with Frodo, Gandalf and the gang, Wed night.
