Anyone want to join me and post your study goal for the day or week and then we can come back and post when we are done? I have two huge tests Monday and three days to study!:uhoh3: I get sidetracked so I thought this would be a good idea.

Here is my goal for today:

Make notecards for peds exam on congenital heart defects, read about stuff I don't understand

I also have a ton of housework-blech.

i think this will be a good idea. i have a test next week in micro, and everything is getting in the way. (it always does right) it is a 4 chapter test i plan on studying a chapter a night until the day before the test.....good luck to you!!!!

i have a nursing test on monday that i will study for this weekend.

goal for today:

make index cards for lymphatic system for mondays exam.

great thread...it will help me get focused and no so scatter brained about where to start!!!!!!!!!

I have a Peds exam next week on like a zillion pages of notes.

My goal for today is to write up notecards on the various immunizations and respiratory dysfunctions.

Big test over a lot of material on Monday and I'm managing to do anything but study (the weather is GORGEOUS; how can I not be distracted?)....I am going to go open my text right now and at least take the time to compare the Powerpoints against the chapters.

Just wanted to chime in that I think this is an excellent idea, like the prayer thread! There is a website devoted to housekeeping tips that has goal oriented group support like this too. Anything that makes the individual make their goals concrete and measurable helps to motivate. Good luck all!

Ok guys, here's where I am at for today--

Got my musculoskeletal cards made for the peds test and half my cards for cardiac stuff, so tonight I need to finish those--got my housework done tho!

Right now I don't feel like doing anything, but I will keep at it.

I'll post in the morning with tomorrows goal! ;) Glad you guys joined me.

Yes, please. I need to be accountable to someone! I have an advanced med-surg/critical care final that's worth 40% of my grade on the 9th. I want an A! There's an ATI med-surg proctored exam tomorrow. They've been pretty easy in previous semesters, so my goal for tonight is to spend two hours studying and get to bed at a decent time.

Go! Go! Go! future RNs of America. Study hard!

ok guys-where is everyone at? i am wading through my peds stuff still. the congenital heart stuff is intense and there is a lot of info.

i have almost finished my note cards (i have over a hundred) and tonight i am going to study note cards and read my textbook. i plan to catch greys anatomy but other than that, it is study time!!!

study for tues. med surg exam. usually i would watch grey's anatomy, but it is a repeat.
