Anyone want to join me and post your study goal for the day or week and then we can come back and post when we are done? I have two huge tests Monday and three days to study!:uhoh3: I get sidetracked so I thought this would be a good idea.

Here is my goal for today:

Make notecards for peds exam on congenital heart defects, read about stuff I don't understand

I also have a ton of housework-blech.

:)

My goal for today was to do all the questions on my Peds book website, the questions in the book, and in my various NCLEX study guides. Mission accomplished.

My goal for tomorrow is to go over my ABG's real quick again just to make sure I have all that down pat which I am pretty sure I do and do drug cards on the respiratory meds.

Sunday my goal is to go through all the Powerpoints/Notes again and have my friend Q+A me from them. Then GOOD night's sleep as the test is Monday.

OK, I'll join. I tried to avoid this thread but I spent yesterday screwing around rather then intensely studying. I justify it as giving myself a small break since I have been good this entire month. Today I am back and ready to go.

I got up at 3 AM and started going over material and will spend the rest of today working on three chapters that are similar in concepts. Oh, what fun! ;) Good luck everyone with being productive today!

Ok guys--I studied some last night then got up and made yet MORE note cards. Went over to a friends this AM and we studied for 3 hrs so I feel like I am making some progress today. Took a 1 hr break and now am going to go work some more until dinner time.

Good luck all...

Well, I just finished my clinical day and am now starting a three week spring break sooooooooooooooooooo my plans are:

1 - work on my cultural diversity project

2 - work on my research change project

3 - spend at least 2 hours a week on Meds Pub NCLEX Review (required 24 hours this semester)

4- would really like to get started on my reading for the next test but I think I'll worry about that closer to then!

So far, I've been doing my work. Yesterday it was 150 NCLEX practice questions. Today it's another 150 plus, reading all my material on burns. Then, if I have time, updating my SRN blog. (Helps me stay on track)

How's everyone else doing so far?

Great idea. I have endocrine test next tuesday, a research paper and a power point on Cushings syndrome.

Today my goal is to finish the note cards for endocrines hormones. And start my drug cards that also are for endocrine.

Tommarrows goal is to review all the cards. And start my power point.

p.s. great thread!

I feel really stressed right now...had a church thing today and just got home, then got an email that I have a whole other section to study for tomorrow's peds exam...

Anyway, I am off to study that and my other note cards, then I go to study group tonight for 4 hrs....

UGH!
