I am enrolled in an RN-MSN program that is entirely distance education. From what I understand, I will plan my own clinicals and get them approved. Just started working on my gen ed classes, so can't tell you if it's any good yet. :) I would say, check your colleges and univs throughout the state (since many are going to distance ed) and see if they have what you want. Also, if your goal is to be a NP, see if they have RN-MSN. You might be able to save lots to credits hours (time and money!) Best wishes in whatever you decide to do!! :)
I am doing distance ed for my masters in science with a major in nutrition. Thought the nursing would be boring. I am going to go on for PHD if I can afford it. Right now there are five of the seven people in my family in college so money is very tight. If you want to know more about my program let me know.
