Hi everyone.......just wanted to share! When I got my letter regarding my application to the ADN program, initially I was an alternate. I didn't think I stood a chance of getting in this year. I was notified les then a week later that I was accepted !!!! I am soooo happy. This was the first year I have applied and the competition is pretty tough in this area and it isn't uncommon to try 2 or 3 years before being accepted. I feel really blessed! I am now scared to death......LOL......I geuss that is probley pretty normal. I went to an orientation and the instructors really tried to discourage us from working at least during the first term.....but I am a single mom and can't quit my job. I am going to try and drop down to only about 20 hours per week though....

Salgal: YAH HOOO, What an awesome feeling you must be experiencing right now! I HOPE I am feeling this same way in a month (July 15th) when I find out if I made it into the BSN program~ As far as your job, prioritize your day, hours, minutes, so that each one counts. YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU SET YOUR MIND TO DO!
