Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

Congrats to all who have heard something. I'm starting to feel a little nervous.

My essays and recommendations are strong. I have some work including volunteering and interning in the medical field, mental health field,and I am fluent in Spanish since I am half Puerto Rican. I've always helped my parents with everything medical by translating when I was younger. I think I would be a strong candidate but now I'm so scared because I'll have to drop out of my program if I don't get it. Everyone is getting all these emails and credit checks and I've heard nothing so it's getting nerve wracking. Anyone who wants to join forces with me by trying to keep positive thoughts, please do!

Mine said out of 0 applicants. Also...I logged onto the portal to see what I needed, and it said "Finalist" and gave me the option to provide my bank info and all the forms. I logged out, gathered all of my stuff and logged back in to find out that my status now says "Offer Recalled"!! I don't understand! I'm supposed to have until August 8th to submit everything. Were you able to submit all of your documents?

I had the same thing happen. I apparently received my email at 5pm this evening, I was at work and didn't actually see it until about 9:30. When I clicked the link to my portal, it said that the offer was recalled. I sent an email and left a message at the call center (either way I don't think I'll get a response back until Monday) but I was wondering if you got a chance to speak with anyone before they closed for the weekend? Needless to say... I'm having a not so minor meltdown ha.

Also, my email also said my deadline was August 8th and that there were 0 applicants, maybe there are some similarities there?

I'm also having a meltdown! I didn't log in a second time until after 8pm (that's when I noticed it said offer recalled), so I didn't get to speak with anyone. I e-mailed them and tried calling but just got the message to call back on Monday. I'm so frustrated! Did we get it or not? This is crazy. It's really messing with my emotions right now. I don't know how to feel or what to think.

I was wondering if you got a chance to call today? I received my email around 5pm, saw it and tried to log in to the portal at 930 the same night and my portal said, "offer recalled". Of course I didn't see this until after the office was closed, so I had to leave a voicemail. I noticed at least one other person on the thread with this issue. I'm really really hoping its an error that doesn't mean the email I received was a mistake. At this point I won't be able to get in contact with anyone from Nurse Corps until Monday morning. If you were able to call, did they mention anything about this kind of issue?

For all of those having issues with the portal I received an email saying they were having issues with their system but that it should be fixed now

The language of the email was unambiguous stating that I had been selected for the award. I logged out and back in to the website and it still says I'm a finalist for the award. The deadline given to accept the award was August 8. I will be accepting the award.

The enrollment verification form that needs to be submitted is different from the one submitted with the initial application. It requires a school seal. Won't be able to get that done until Monday morning anyway.

I can understand everyone's nerves. Feeling very close but I always like to see contracts signed and money transferred before I breathe easy.

Program: Accelerated BSN (second degree)

GPA: 3.85 (I have 16 credit hours of science major biology and chemistry courses beyond nursing school requirements)

EFC: 0

20 year history of non-medical professional and charity work in under-served communities.

I got an acceptance email! Sent at 5pm EST august 1st

Program: 2nd year ADN with previous BA

ECF 0

GPA 3.77 combined, 3.84 from BA

SE Ohio

Does anyone know, if they ever award you the scholarship if your EFC is at/beyond 5500?

i have a higher efc now, because i just got married, but there is no way we can afford tuition none the less :x

im getting worried lol
