Nursing Students Looked at my EMR... HIPAA?
Easy. Report your complaint here: Filing a HIPAA Complaint | HHS.gov or you may call the Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights toll-free at: 1-800-368-1019. You can also call the hospital in which the offense occurred and ask to speak with the compliance officer, who will audit the records and take appropriate action.

HRSA 2014-2015 Nurse Corps Scholarship
Hi, I posted this earlier but it must have been overlooked because I see a couple of people posted that no ADN students have said that they had received the scholarship. Well, I am in an ADN program and received it August 1st.Good luck to everyone! Based on last year's forum, it's still very early.

OSU for PMHNP?
I contacted OSU and they have no intention to eliminate their MSN for NP programs anytime soon, so that's good. I found out today I have been accepted for the NCSP which requires a 2 year full time service commitment. I'm not so sure I could work full time and attend graduate school at the same time. I'm looking into doing possibly both part time.

OSU for PMHNP?
Thanks for responding MwtM. Thats quite a jump from rhetoric to NP! Are you direct entry MSN? Or are you RN-MSN? Does anyone have advice on whether or not I should work before going to graduate school or if it is possible to work while completing OSU's PMHNP program? I'm trying to beat the shift over to the DNP requirement. I'm pretty sure I would need a BSN to get accepted into a DNP program.

OSU for PMHNP?
Hi. First time posting. I was wondering if anybody was familiar with the PMHNP program at the Ohio State University and if so, what's it like? The good/bad, etc. I am interested in this program because they offer RN-MSN with previous baccalaureate degree, which I have in psychology. I am currently in an ADN program and I'm trying to avoid getting a BSN. Any insight much appreciated!
