Hi ALL,

I am taking 17 credit hours (plus clinicals) starting Jan. '06. I think it's safe to say that I will have a limited social life :wink2:

How about all of you????

Hope all of you gals (and guys) have a fun and safe NEW YEAR!!!!

-Erin

I'm only taking 10 credit hours. I will be in school from 7 am to 2 pm on Mondays and 7 am to 10 am on Wednesdays & Fridays. I picked this schedule so I would have lots of time to study and be a good wife and mom :clown:

19 credits (until Feb 17th, 16 credits thereafter!) They are nursing pre-reqs and core curri though, not in nursing yet.

Specializes in Infection Preventionist/ Occ Health.

My classmates and I will have 17 credits this spring, including pathophysiology, pharmacology, med-surg, OB/peds and clinicals. I'm resting up now!

Specializes in Med-Surg, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac.

OMG, I'm so impressed. I've never taken more than 9 at a time. Good luck.

Specializes in Emergency Dept, M/S.

I tried 12 at a time, but it was too much with my commute, 4 kids, divorce, etc. I'm taking 9 this semester - Med/Surg 1, and that be it!

ah well, don't be impressed by my credit hours, I have a ton of help/support.. husband pays all the bills and for college, MIL helps with the kids/cooking, I don't work, and the college is only 20 min. away. I'm very very blessed... it's me that's impressed with others that have so much on their plate and still manage so much.

Specializes in Surgical/Telemetry.

14, usually try to stay at 12 with just the nursing classes, but really wanted to continue a healthcare spanish course. Oh well, it's the last term :Melody:

Specializes in Geriatrics, Cardiac, ICU.

We have 16 credit hours we are required to take.

15 credits -- Med-Surg/psych (clinicals), Online Human Growth and Development, and Microbiology. Plus, I work 30+ hours a week as a senior graphic designer -- slight career change -- at a PR firm. That translates into NO life!

The "A is not as illusive as it may seem. Hang in there and keep your sights on the goal.

My motto: Strive for perfection and settle for excellence. If I end up with a "B," I'm okay with it. Ultimately, passing the NCLEX is what really matters.

:-)

Specializes in Emergency/Trauma.

The required 17 this semester. Med-Surg 1 and Pharmacology! Semester starts Jan 12, and despite the hard work, I'm looking forward to it. However, I will once again tell my family and friends goodbye until the end of the semester!

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.

I'm just taking 13 credits this semester. After this, it's just nursing classes.
