I was just curious to find out how long your nursing programs are. I'm starting my real nursing courses this fall (yay!) :) for my BSN. It lasts for 5 semesters (but only includes the fall & spring semesters), which means I will graduate in Dec. 2006. How about you?

Our RN program is 4 semesters - so 2 years...
It seems like a long time when you are just starting!!!

OUrs is four semester, but it's a straight 4, so it only takes 16 months to complete. I hear that we'll have 12 hour clinicals during summer semester.
Yeah...our program does include summer semesters in those 2 years...I forgot about that....

My program is also 5 semesters. Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring.....RN! However we may take the state boards after the third semester (the Summer one) to become a LPN. It's a nice option because you can begin working while completing the RN portion. Good Luck in school!

my adn program is 4 semesters long. but remember all the pre-req you need to take. it usually takes 3 to 3½ years to finally finish. that's without repeating any courses.

mine is the same as yours, 5 semesters. we dont have summer classes, but we can do summer externships which we get paid for AND earn credits for, which is amazing to me. so i graduate the same time as you, december of 2006. it seems like a long time, but we only have to do 9-13 credits per semester, so hopefully it will be a little less stressful than a program thats 4 semesters with 16-18 credits per semester. either way, we will get there soon enough, right? :)
