Hey everyone! I just called up the school because it's been 5 long weeks since I had my interview & I hadn't recived anything in the mail. I had called a couple weeks ago and they said they were going to send the letters out but I never got one. I called the school and said "Hi, this is Kay ___ and I was wondering if the acceptance/denied letters were going to be sent out this week". She laughed and said, you know, we were just talking about you and I just finished typing up your letter a minute ago." I said, "oh really?". She said, "yeah, you were accepted, congrats! I was like OOHHH YEAH!!! So, I should get my letter tomorrow or the day after that. I am so glad! I was going NUTS! Now I need to see if I can get any finacial aid from some place. The program is pretty darn expensive. My kids (4, 20 months) will be in daycare when I start school in Aug. so I've got to get that figured out---I don't work so it will be a strain on us (money wise)... I just wanted to share the good news. I won't be able to tell my hubby until this evening since he's out of town. bums. Well, thanks for listening!

It's funny how we want so bad to get in but once we find out we are, all the "what if's" start to come out and we get scared.
Good job on getting in. Remember you have a whole world of support here, even if you just need to vent!:)
Thanks you guys :)
I know what you mean Sara. I'm praying everything will work out.
I'm so excited. I can't wait to start school. I'm going to miss my kids a lot though. I was never much of a study hardy gal in school before but now that 1.)I have to pay for this program 2.) I've matured quite a bit---I think I will be able to handle it. They did say 3-5 hours of homework every night..... eeekk! How about you guys? Do you have that much?

Congrats, Kay!!
Excellent work!
(I'm *still* checking the mailbox every day--they said we'd hear during the first week in April, so I don't want to call until next Monday.)

Congratulations Kay!!!
I'm going to have the same problem with the daycare situations because my twins will only be 4 years old when I get into nursing school and I'll have to pay for full time daycare for both of them for a year. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it but I keep telling myself it will all work out some how.

Congratulations!!
I'm waiting to hear if I get in myself- one more month of waiting. I'm worried about child care too. I usually have my mother in law but she is not reliable. I might have to put them in daycare.

I am still waiting on my letter too... Congrats Kay!! I am just worried, I do not sleep well at nights because I am stressed out waiting on the letter from the school.
"please Lord help me to get in the program for fall".....
Say a prayer for me.

Just curious, why did you have to be interviewed to attend school? Is it like applying for a job - if they like you, your in?
You are not the only one that I have read that had to go through an interview. Around here, it is just the waiting list issue.
Don't want to seem stupid, but it is very interesting and I would like to know.
