Well, I just took my final in A&P I tonight and finished this semester. Finally! I THINK I came away with an A. It depends on the final though. Brutal.

Is it just me or did everyone's semester last as long as mine? I begin nursing school in January and am getting prepared for that. How many more semesters do you all have and what's up for you next semester? (Or do we want to forget about school altogether? :chuckle )

I have a week and a half left and then 1 more semester! I am so excited to have my life back :chuckle

I wish I could say that. Just when I thought I'd have a nice, much needed break I find out that I have to learn a whole book's worth of medical terminology before classes begin. :o I wish they would have made it a pre-req instead of letting us know a few weeks before class begins there will be a test. Oh well...siyanara to my study free Christmas Break.

hi,

my finals are next week. i cannot wait to be done with this semester. i have not an ounce of energy left. i am taking my books and throwing them in the fire. i don't want to look at them ever again! (although, i may need them for the nclex). i am looking forward to the holidays and not having to study!! i still have a long way to go. don't graduate until august 2008.

Congrats to those who don't have much longer to go. You guys rock!!!! I hope I can one day say...2 semesters left. Atleast then I'll know I'll be doing ok in nursing school. Guess we'll see come January. :Santa3:

you'll get there SoulShine and so will the rest of you! I cannot believe that it is almost over, it has gone by faster than I could have ever imagined! I get freaked out when I think that in 6 or so months I will be working as a nurse (hopefully :)

Isn't that the coolest thought? In 6 months you'll be a nurse!!! Congratulations to you on your school success and best wishes for the upcoming success you'll have as a new nurse. :) Good luck.

My last final EVER on Tuesday, then my final preceptorship in January for 16 weeks and then....DONE! YAY!

turn in a project tomorrow, a final next tuesday, then one more semester!!! i will have a sort of med-surg iii type class that also includes hospice for 10 week, some senior capstone type of class that all health majors have to take (read: dread), and preceptorship starting in march (which will be in my town so [color=deepskyblue]no more 110 mile one way commute)!!!!!! woohoo!!! i am finishing my 10th out of 11 semesters straight if you include prereqs!!!!!!!!!!!!! no summer breaks, 3 kids at home, and a husband who doesn't even want me doing it - yeah, i'm ready to be done!

12/14 I will take my final. And yes, my final final. I will be done. I have my last unit test on Monday and my final on Wednesday. Pinning will be on that Thursday and graduation on Saturday.

Unfortuately d/t a panic attack on an exam..one of my scores was a 62%. Sooo, I have to get at least an 80% on each of these exams. Nothing is worse than getting to the end of your last semester and not knowing...

Talk about a huge week. I'm making myself sick.

you sound burned out. i'm sorry you don't have the support you deserve. congratulations to you for making it this far. one more semester to go!!!!!! (wish i could say that) :wink2: good luck!

My finals for this semester are on the 13th. I've done well enough that I only need a 64% on the final to pass the class so I'm not too worried about that.

On the 14th I have to take the HESI exit exam and get a score of at least 900. If I don't get the 900 I have to go back next year and take it again and again every week at $30 each time until I do get the 900. I'm told most students in the program have to take it 2-4 times before passing so I am stressed about that.

After I get passed these two exams I will be a GRADUATE NURSE!

I am going to be taking the NCLEX-RN as soon as I can early next year.
