Would it be annoying if I sent another email?

I had an interview back in December with a hospital for new grad residency. She said she would set me up for a second interview with the nurse manager and it would probably be around February. I sent thank you email about 2 days later and another email in January to follow up but no responses so far. Anyway, it's March now and I'm wondering if would annoying to send another email now. It feels like a lost cause but my status still says interview stage. Any advice?

At this point, I'm thinking that it is indeed a lost cause. However, this means that it can't hurt to send another email.

What have you got to lose?

It can take awhile for HR and management to communicate. You deserve a response.

Keep following up until you get one. I would send an email every 2 weeks.

Good luck!

It wouldn't hurt to send another email. May be a lost cause, but you never know!

I would email hr again and ask if the position was filled and, if so, how long you application is kept active in case future openings. The position may be filled but maybe hr or the hiring manager knows of a position that will be a better fit. Good luck!

Maybe a phone call, or even show up at human resoursecs in person? I hope you have the name of the person who first interviewed you? Ask to speak to them?

Sometimes HR is the hold up. It wouldn't hurt to send another email to show that you are interested.

This may be outdated, but back in 2009 I was waiting to hear back on a new department that was starting up with a company I interviewed with. The interview went well and I was told that decisions would be made in about a month. I sent a thank you letter via certified mail for the interview and restated my interest in the position. I called a few days after and she said that she had received my letter and I was one of her 6 chosen persons for hire and she was only waiting for the green light from HR. It was a couple months but I got the job.

Thank you for all the wonderful responses. I'm going to be persistent until I at least know the position is filled. I will update if I hear anything back!
