I need advise.....My ex wife put me on cymbalta and 2 other antidepressant meds to control me while married. Now she is a lvn who only persuses Med Tech positions and has had 5 nursing jobs in three years?? Now she is giving my 19 year old daughter her happy pills? My daughter has not seen a Doctor for this prescription. I'm concerned that she will soon give my 10 year old medication when he becomes a teen age boy and challenges her like all teens do. Please somebody Help???? I hate this medicated world we live in.

I don't think any of us are qualified to help you. I'd see a lawyer about your concerns.

Good luck.

If an LVN is giving prescription medicines to ANYONE, she is practicing medicine without a license. How did she "put you on cymbalta and two other anti-depressant meds" without having prescribing privileges? How did you obtain the meds from a pharmacy without a valid prescription?

Yes, this is reportable if she is giving people meds without a doctor's prescription, but I hope you have proof; otherwise you just look like a bitter and disgruntled ex. Perhaps you are mistaken and she has taken your daughter to the doctor and obtained a legally appropriate medication for her.

The proper place to discuss your concerns is with a lawyer or if you have proof law enforcement. This is a nursing forum.
