Travel nursing advice!

Hi everyone! I just graduated with a BSN, passed my boards and started my first job as an RN on a med/surg oncology floor. I was just looking for any advice on travel nursing (I'm interested in traveling abroad in Europe). I am especially interested in Madrid and London but would settle for anywhere in Europe really! Has anyone had any experience doing this transition? Any specific agency you recommend?

Ps. I know I need a year of experience before I apply anywhere but I just wanted to get a head start!

...sounds a lot more complicated than a year of experience. Each county will have its own requirements ...not just related to nursing, but also to your ability to live and work in that county as a foreigner.

EU countries by law give preference to their citizens, then EU passport holders before considering other applicants. Are you fluent in medical Spanish? Are you aware of the requirements of the NMC and the hours of clinical that must appear on your nursing school transcript? Are you aware that nurses in the UK are specialist trained as adult, children, DD/ID, mental health and then there are midwives?

Nursing education is not universal and its costly to complete the credentials assessment, prove language competency and then find a job that cannot be fulfilled by a local or EU citizen to be considered for a work visa. Latest reports are the testing and assessments including observed clinical nursing assessment (a hands on clinical exam that is reportedly graded very strictly to standards)

You're going to need at least two years of experience. And be proficient in the language of the country of your choice.
