Hi Everyone,

Just found out my telephone interview for AZ will be today!!! Please everyone who can...say a prayer that all goes well! I'm so excited, and sooooo scared...of not getting it...as I'm sure I'm up against with a lot of folks for this assignment!! I WANT IT BAD !!! Please pray they do call as I have been told, and I GET IT

i am soooooooo thrilled and excited for you! :balloons: congrats on getting the job, and you bet i want to celebrate with you! how about inviting all the texas nurses who want to join you in that celebration as there seems to be sooooo many of them here on this bb. i'd love to meet them! you will love arizona...according to my oldest sister who already lives there. i really hope you two can meet while you are there. she's a super super person! she's quite contagious! :cool:

Jeri... YOU a riot!! Nice going...sounds you're not afraid to laugh at yourself! And don't worry about mom's hmph...that's just what we say...when don't know what to say...:chuckle! I think you just changed into an adult in her eyes!!!

Wouldn't it be awesome if all the TX BBers could get together??? WOW!...that would blow my ever loving mind. Well I'm planning to leave either on the 4th or the 5th of Jul...bummer:o Just depends on what apartment complex I pick, and when they can have the apartment ready. Some places have the nerve to tell me they were charging $200 a mon more for 3 months leases!! Yeah right...I got one down to $50.00 off the apartment and $100/ mo.off for the 3 month lease.!!! Remember I said that EVERYTHING is negotiable...:rotfl:

Nice prayer Mario! Congrats Brownie!!!! I can tell you are just so totally psyched! And Nursejws, you WILL find something. What is it that you are doing now? ARe you close to being in clinicals in nursing school? Around here many hospitals are offering 24 for 36 weekend positions with benefits for nursing students. Might be something to look into in your area.. Best of luck!

Did somebody say happy??? I can light up a room when I'm happy, so my husband says. ;)

Right now I'm not working. I quit working last October, basically because my boss pissed me off to no end, ignored me, and pushed me to do something I wanted to wait to do the next day...when tempers weren't flared. I admit, I walked out, after working there almost two years. It was getting ridiculous and hazardous to my health. I never, I REPEAT, I NEVER HAVE WALKED OUT OF A JOB. I've always done the right thing and gave notice. I can handle a lot too...I'll shut up. The Jeri that walked out the door did what she had to do...while she might have not consulted with THIS Jeri, neither one of us have any regrets. :rotfl:

Seriously, I've been going to school full time, and just changed my major to nursing a few months ago. I'm still in the process of taking my pre-req's and if I get the job at the place(hospital) I'm so excited about, I will be there for a while. My goal is to work L&D at this hospital.

Brownie -- it's all good now! :cool: It really was not the best environment, and the turn over rate was...like a revolving door! The boss just wanted "warm bodies" which can frustrate the few that really care what they're doing and want to do the best. At the place I interviewed on Thursday (hospital) she told me their turnover rate was low, very, very, low! My kind of place. ;)

Now after 8+ months on one income, omg, if I don't get a job soon, my husband and I will have way too many hurt feelings, and we're just not like that. The stress of not having any money after bills are paid is more than I expected. I admit, I've been snappy with him. It's not that I mean too, I'm just worried with only two interviews, and no financial aid, what will we do if I don't get a job. :eek: :( :imbar
