We had a nurse who sang Wind Beneath my Wings, to the nursing instructors. It was a great way to say thank you for all they did for us!
that sounds like a neat idea! i dont know if any of our class can sing

Aw, c'mon, what about Barry Manilow's "Looks Like We Made It"? [wheedling] It's chock-full of cheesy goodness.....

The best graduation/pinning my students had was the year one of the students sang "wind beneath my wings" I don't even think it would have to be sung by a student, but maybe a CD of the song (download on mp3 format even) and dedicate it to family and friends/teachers who helped you make it through the year.

At ours it was I Believe I Can Fly played from the CD over the sound system - not a dry eye among us.

How about using either: "This Is It" by Kenny Loggins or "I'm Coming OUt " by Diana Ross. I know that these songs are relatively dated, but it's all that I can think of for now. I'll continue to think about other fitting song titles.

How about "Things can only get better!" Good strong beat, with positive outlook for the future

How about "I get knocked down...but I get up again" I think its by Smashmouth. Kinda symbolizes nursing school, for me at least. :)

Hello at my pinning ceremony, one of our classmates sang " Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion and the class dedicated it of all of the families who supported us through the stress of nursing school. As said previously not a dry eye in the place.
Good-Luck and Congrats!
