Pharmacology Class: I'm going to brag on myself.

I'm in my last semester of an RN to BSN program through the local university. One of my courses is pharmacology and it is very hard. We have to pass a calculation exam to pass the course, the lowest score we can get is a 75% and we have two chances to pass it.

When I took it I was in such shock, the questions were not what I expected or studied for at all. No, it wasn't rocket science but it was a slap in the face because #1 I'm not good at math and #2 I'm not good at math.

Anyway, I was sure I failed miserably. I agonized over the second try and though about how embarrassing it would be to fail out because of that calculation exam. Apparently, I was not alone, many students had already gotten their scores and had failed, some very badly. So, I was really feeling defeated. But I got my results back and the teacher congratulated me on scoring the highest grade in the class. Though it was only an 83.3%, I won't have to take that dreaded calculation exam again.

Good job! It goes to show that you shouldn't get yourself worked up after the test, just wait for the score. I usually treat myself to a movie after my tests. :) To get my mind off it.
