count your blessings, they never work after being baptised.

Leave it in there and page yourself...fun for everyone...lol

Where I work, we refer to pagers being dropped in the toilet as "doing the swirlie." It's happened more than once! There's no point in fishing it out, they don't work anymore anyway!

:p

By the way - It doesn't work - they just issue you another one!

Hilarious!:D

OOPS...last time I dropped mine in it was pre bowl use...so I fished it out. Took out the battery and let it dry a few days and it still works.

Shoulda left it there.

And IF it survived, try to remember not to hit the "off" switch with your cheek.

We had (at one time) those huge "Mickey D's" style boxes you wear on your waist with a microphone that clips to your collar.

Can you imagine the waterspout THAT makes if it does the swirlie?

SEEMS LIKE WE ARE MISSING A BEEPER ON OUR UNIT...HMMM

Here they have issued those stretchie/coil leashes to clip your beeper to your belt loops. Have you seen how far those STRETCH? It's like watching a beeper bungee jump! Should have give out little beeper life jackets!
