Improper transfer

This is my first day/post here....so here's my question. 11 years ago I was working in a nursing home, did a transfer alone when the care plan called for 2 aides, incidently the transfer did not go smoothly and the patient's leg was cut on the wheel chair. The state investigated and my certificate was not revoked and I was not reported to the aide registry, however I was fired because I was on probation (new employee) and was not allowed to have union representation. I know I was completely wrong in my decsion to transfer alone and have been working ever since with no other incidents of any type. So my question is....will I be able to take my rn boards? I know I need to call the BON for a definitive answer, would just like to know if anyone has any information regarding this type of situation. No other record of any type. Any advice would be helpful.

I think that you need to call the BON - we would only be guessing.

I don't see why you wouldn't , no action was taken

One incident 11 years ago doesn't sound like a pattern to me. Wish I could go 11 years between mistakes! IMHO, don't sweat the small stuff.
