my mom got hers in 1976, & it did wonders for her self esteem. However she did have nerve damage post op on one side & that sucks. She can't feel part of the b--b. They look nice. One must wear the bra or gravity will pull it allllll south! My sis in law had hers done last month after my mom encouraged her to do it if it was that big of an issue with her. She did fine, but they are sore of course. Look fabulous. Personally, I don't need them with my 42 DD's. I have had several men tell me they like natural ones better because they move with the body. Then again, they maybe said that to get along better with me (who knows)....?

I would never do it because of the painful stories I have heard and read from other women who have done it with regrets.
I have what I have.....and that's that!
I used to take ECGs a long time ago as a technician. This cured me of any desire to get implants...
When these women would lie flat on their backs, the darned things would point straight up into the air like little (or big) mountains! It was ridiculous. On most women, they level out & the electrodes can be placed ACROSS the woman's chest. On THESE women, the electrodes stood up *perpendicular to the chest* because they had to fit the contours of the breasts. Many of the women had permanent scar tissue, creating hardened breasts. Also, I NEVER saw artificial breasts that looked natural or like something I would want.
This was in the early 90's, so I'm not sure if there are better implants on the market. I DO know that they are not guaranteed for life -- some women have to go through 2-3 replacements, for they'll burst. Also, if you have children, the shape can become malformed as your breast tissue increases in size. And how would you feed the baby? Finally, the lining of saline implants has silicone -- I watched a removal of implants on tv, and all of that silicone lining became gummy and pulled from the woman's chest cavity like stringy chewing gum!
I had the job done at age 20, 3 years ago. I could never be any happier. I was very flat chested and hated the way I looked. I would get in arguments with friends before we would go out because I hated my figure so much I was embaressed. I know different things are of different importance to everyone, but really could not stand the way I looked. I am now a full 32-B or small C. I have majorly incrsd my self esteem, and I really don't care what others think about it. I don't keep it a secret, and encourage anyone with a low self esteem, because of small breasts, to do it. The pain was worth it, and I will do it again if something happens to these!
Had it done when I turned 30 & have never looked back. I feel really good about myself (of course I can always find something I don't like about myself). But it has done loads for my self-esteem. Only regret - that I didn't have it done behind the muscle. No problems. Husband & I are very happy.
Hope this helps
ps - I can float in water now :roll :roll :roll
One of my sisters had a breast reduction a few years ago. She had a number of adjustment problems for a time, but now seems to be okay. Her large breast created severe back problems for her which is why she chose to have the operation. I tried to get her to let me lay on the table next to her so the doctor could give me her excess boob material, but she wasn't having it. :rotfl:
