Help, wardrobe malfunction

Nurses General Nursing

Hello,

I am currently a nurse in California. I have found a brand of scrub pants that I love (dickies genflex). They are affordable (Amazon), have lots of pockets, and come in bright colors.

Unfortunately, they keep riding down. I wear long undershirts tucked in to prevent showing underwear but the shirts ride up.

Any suggestions on undergarments that would allow me to bend down and not worry about showing skin?! I've considered a leotard but that'd make going to the bathroom awkward. please help. It is my goal to dress professionally at work.

I wear full coverage seamless brief style undies most of the time. This way, if they were to show, they look like shorts. I also tend to wear long tops.

As long as my weight doesn't creep up making them small, I have no crack attack issues!

Also, don't put as much stuff in your pockets. Gravity and all.

Yep - only use my scrub top pockets for this reason.

Gotta second ATL-Murse-wannabe on the bit about scrubs fitting, too. The brands that are more likely to ride down on me are the ones that aren't made for my body shape. Buying a brand of scrubs that really fits me usually means I don't even tie the ties on the pants because I don't have to.

Sometimes it's worth spending the extra money to have something that fits you well if looking professional is your goal.

Duluth Trading Company makes a "long tailed T shirt" that might work. It's also worth going to their site just for the ads - hilarious!

Look up cuddle duds underwear. I wear the same brand and the material is soft/stretchy so the pants tend to wander a bit with soft/stretchy underwear. Cuddlduds are for cooler weather but you'll get the drift (LOL) and can find other more light weight breathable products that will work better for your area.
