I am so sorry you are going through this. I am sure you have some fantastic skills that anyone would be glad to have? How much longer than your FMLA will you need to be off? Maybe this will be a good time to branch out and try something brand new or maybe a different floor? What about trying home health or hospice? Could you be a case manager? I would like to try to help you tonight.
Hugs,

My father always told me that when one door closes, another one opens.....take it as a sign, that you are meant for better things!! I doubt you will have difficulty finding another job, and hey--who knows, it might be the perfect one for you!
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers--best of luck!
My dad also just lost his job...He has sold cars for 13 years and was General Manager....well he was fired two weeks ago and already has a much better job...at another car place and is GM there..pay is much better, better hours,,less stress.....The grass is greener on the the side.....even though some people say it's burnt...I think it's greener..you can go find something much much better....Good Luck...I agree with the others their loss...

Well, I just found out that I do not have a job to return to after I have recuperated from my surgery.
I really do not know what I am going to do; it's almost like there has been too much to deal with for the past few months, and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. But once your FMLA expires, you really have no protection if you are non-union.
Sigh...right now, I really hate this profession.
