I would, actually. It's the stuff of REALITY and I would respect someone being "for real" in advertising. It's like that AVON cellulite cream commercial. I mean, sheesh who at 5 feet 10 and 110 is gonna have a NEED for CELLULITE cream? It made me run the OTHER way from Avon, frankly.

Hubby said he thought it was an aide, I thought it was a nurse but it did not bother me. To busy to think much about it. No flames please on the aide was supposed to show that the person did not have a neon sign that it was a nurse but people assume she is.

I have written to Procter & Gamble and asked when they intend to actually get the commercial off the air like they promised. Please post here every time you see the commercial--please list the network, the show it is being broadcast with and time of day. Thank you,

It's about time. That commercial was demeaning to the nursing profession. I think it was pulled in our area too, because thankfully I have not seen it for a long time. Clairol has been airing tastless commercials for well over a year. I also wrote the Proctor and Gamble Co. and informed them that as long as they continue to air demeaning commercials, I will not be purchasing their products. I am not alone. Many of my freinds are disgusted with their ads as well and refuse to buy any Clairol products.

Are certain stations paid in advance to run commercials? Maybe they are pulling the commercial but it will take a while before all stations are done running them. ???

Have you guys seen that commercial for a breath mint, I believe, where this guy has a splinter in his finger, pops a breath mint, then all this Playboy bimbo looking nurses come running to his aid? At the end of the commercial, two of them are bending over and are talking about how brave this stupid dork is, all the while their boobs are practically hanging out of their little white dresses! The implication in this commercial is that these bimbos are definitely nurses, they even have on the white caps and everything! Totally tasteless and offensive!

Why can't they do a cute little commercial with a nurse giving a cute little soap-suds enema (Proctor and Gamble brand soap, of course) to some of the folks on their board of directors?
Just my opinion, not meaning to offend anyone.
