I too have worked with many Muslim nurses. Many chose to wear the hijaab. We have one nurse on the floor who wears a color coordinated hijaab with her uniform. She wears a hijaab that is ceil blue with her uniform. She wears a long sleeve button down the front dress with pockets and I bleileve a long sleeve tee underneath and scrub pants.
Many just wear their scrubs and a longsleeve tee underneath, along with the hijaab.
Good luck to you!!
Assalamu alaikum! (Peace be with you)
So cool to hear from a fellow Muslim on the boards!
I'm a pre-pre-nursing student... Planning to go to nursing school in five years when my baby is old enough, so I don't have much experience as well, but I know some Muslim nurses and like the other posters said, they wear long sleeved shirts under their scrubs, with either an "Amira style" one or two piece stretch hijab, or a regular scarf tied in the back.
Glad you'll be joining the ranks of the greatest job on earth, and I hope to follow soon!
Peace!

I saw something on the local news the other day about some type of 'support group' students at U of M (Ann Arbor, MI) came up with. Its not just for muslims but for everybody who wants to know more about the muslim community or beliefs to meet and talk hopefully to educate or clear up misconceptions and stereotypes.

Hi,
I'm muslim pre-nursing student and I wear the hijaab. I would love to know any Muslim nurses/student nurses that I can ask some questions regarding the hijaab, uniform, dealing with patients, and going through nursing school as a muslim.
There are a few specific questions I would love to ask.
So come out! :)
