Geezzz..the wait on accepantace/denial for NS

I genuinely feel for you! I officially finish my first year in the program tomorrow, but I vividly remember the anxiousness and frustration of waiting. For our program we applied in February, took a written essay the first week of April, and didn't find out if we were accepted until mid June ... IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! It consumed me really. Luckily for me it's all in the past but I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you hear soon!

I put in my application April 1, took the TEAS V in March and got my letter late June and started classes in Aug. I think I wore a path to my mailbox. Hard to believe that was a year ago. Halfway there!!

Hi All, I applied for 2 different nursing (Lpn to Rn) programs. One for the Fall 2011 and the other Spring 2012. The wait is terriable....I just want to know how long of a wait has it been for you to find out it you made it into nursing program or not? Aghhh......the wait sucks!!!
Future, current and past nursing students weigh in......

Applications were do Feburary 2011...I found out that I got accepted into Nursing school May 9, 2011. That three month wait almost killed me.

Ugh, the wait is the worst! I applied mid January and got my acceptance mid April. I think those were some scary months for my mail lady!

We had to have our apps and testing complete by February 15th. I found out May 13th that I got accepted! Good luck!

Lol! I know the feeling. Before applying I NEVER checked my mailbox but maybe once every 2 weeks but now its like every frenkin day and I dont even know why Im checking it everyday now......I dont even take my TEAS V until the 23rd.

For my local CC apps were due 1/15 for fall term. They sent out letters at the end of march so about 2 1/2 mo there. I also applied to 2 other schools for their bsn programs at the same time. One acceptance letter I received in the middle of April. The other acceptance letter I received at the end of May (for the spring 2012 term)

Last year our applications were due on July 15 and we didn't find out until Novemeber. It was a llllooooonnnggg 4 month wait, Lol. Good Luck!!!
