Hey everyone!!
I am applying to GCU for the Fall Fast Track program at the AT Still campus, but I heard it is super hard to get in as a transfer, especially at the AT Still campus. Wanted to reach out and see if there are any other GCU transfer hopefuls? Wondered if we could compare stats, tips, desired campuses, etc. :) I am just so nervous!
I can't believe GCU. I applied last fall and went through this nonsense and more! The lack of communication is what killed me. I'd email my advisor with thoughtful questions, very detailed about what I was wanting answers too, but that person would pick and choose the questions they wanted to answer. It was too hush-hush. About 4 months ago, I was invited to a webinar and they finally shed some light on how their application process works. If you're a transfer student, it's highly unlikely that you'll get in, unless you have the perfect GPA, perfect HESI scores, and then who knows...a solid interview if it goes that far? I had to interview, the director of nursing herself told me I'd be a great "risk". I was accepted as an Alternate and well...they wanted me to proceed with turning in everything like I was accepted. I wasn't going to waste anymore time or money. Thank goodness for the CEP programs through the community colleges, I was just recently accepted with GCC/NAU and I'm looking forward to it. I know GCU is a great school, but they really put a bad taste in my mouth. Good luck to those of you still waiting, I truly hope you get what you want! :)
I just received an official email from GCU stating that I wasn't accepted, but I pulled my application and never actually applied since I heard about transfers getting the lowest priority. Wondering if anyone has heard back with good news? Especially transfers, wondering how true the rumors were!

I also had two different advisors tell me this. Both of them called me to let me know and recommended I had a strong plan B as they were foreseeing not taking any transfers
