GCC Glendale Community College ADN Program Summer 2020

Published

Hi everyone! I applied to Glendale's RN program and waiting for invitation email to take the TEAS. Did anyone apply to any other schools besides Glendale? I applied to Mt.SAC's RN program as well but I know I'm not going to be selected since it's a point-based system and my points are pretty low

I got a 74 on TEAS and 3.6 on prereqs

everyone go check your email. I didn't get selected but I already going to COunty. CONGRATS if you got in!

Honestly, it feels like I’m never going to get accepted. I want to restart everything

Didn’t get in with an 83% on TEAS and 3.0 GPA but it was my first time applying so didn’t expect to get in the first round but will continue to try!! Don’t give up anyone that got denied! Eventually it will be your turn and you will get that acceptance eventually ?

Got denied, can't be too upset since it was random selection and it was my first time trying to get in! My scores were 90.7% on TEAS and 3.9 GPA overall and 3.7 science, still hoping for COC though as it is my main choice! CONGRATS to everyone who got in!

Join the COC forum! I’m sure you’ll get in! ?

Whats COC? Anyone applying to different schools, if so where?

College of the Canyons, it is in Santa Clarita, off the 5 north freeway. I applied to Glendale, Moorpark, and College of the Canyons.

Does anyone know how much time in between TEAS exams we need to wait in order for it to count as first attempt again?

Stay positive, DO NOT GIVE UP!

I felt like I shoud post my stats since I've been using all of your info for the past several months to keep myself updated (thank you, by the way!) I received my acceptance email this afternoon. 1st time applying to GCC but have been through the application process at other schools for the past 1.5 years. 3.6 overall GPA, 4.0 science GPA, 92.7% TEAS. Like someone on an earlier post said, I believe that after you pass the chancellor's cut, it's really just luck, and I think, for whatever reason, the universe was on my side this time. Whatever you do, don't give up! Your turn is coming too...just be patient and stay positive, as hard as that might be in the moment. Good luck, all!

If you or anyone else selected wants to buy the NS 200 and NS205 books, I have them. I bought them with some highlighting on them but they are in good shape. Theses were them last semester, if they’re the same and you want them for cheaper than the other places, let me know!
