Hi everyone! I applied to Glendale's RN program and waiting for invitation email to take the TEAS. Did anyone apply to any other schools besides Glendale? I applied to Mt.SAC's RN program as well but I know I'm not going to be selected since it's a point-based system and my points are pretty low

There is an orientation but im guessing it will be virtual. Unfortunately as you’ll see, your schedule no longer matters, nursing school is nothing but short notices and trying to change your whole schedule in a weeks notice. They gave clinical schedules the week before they started this last cycle
@workingsmartnothard Science portion relied heavily on both anatomy and physiology of the organ systems. Additionally a good number of life science questions regarding how to evaluate studies (variables and such), and a lot of logic and conclusion in research. Good luck on Friday!

What was science heavy on? I’m reviewing so much of chem and hormones because that’s what the practice tests seem to focus on.
Also, any tips on how to remember conversions? I always get stuck LOL
Taking my exam tomorrow at COC since I deferred GCC’s app.
Definitely study up on hormones and the body systems! I didn't get as much life science questions but a lot of A&P

Took my exam and got an 80.
Wish I could’ve done better, but it’s still considered as ‘advanced.’
Does anyone know if we get better luck if we have a higher TEAS score? I’m assuming because it’s lottery, we all have an equal chance if we pass the GPA and TEAS min. cut score of 62% requirements.
I want to apply to other programs next term but 80% isn’t looking too competitive LOL.

I talked to them recently and it’s still on for their Summer cohort.
