I called and they told me they haven’t started to review apps so we won’t receive anything until early March prob

I called today as well I just wanted to make sure my application was being considered although it had not been verified through Nursing Cas. They informed me that they had not started reviewing applications just yet however that my application was fine as long as my transcripts had been submitted to Nursing Cas before or on the due date (which they had been). I also asked them about what application they pay more attention to if it's the Nursing Cas app or the Supplemental app, and they informed me that they look at both and merge the applications just in case the applicants didn't get the opportunity to submit documents on Nursing Cas they have the Supplemental to fall back on and submit documents there. I keep checking my email every day in hopes of some sort of update, but I'm sure the only update we will receive will be in March once they notify us if we get to schedule for an interview.

I’m glad to hear that bcuz I was beginning to worry, I had emailed before I called. It hadn’t received a response that’s why I called but yesterday they responded and I was told that they are “expecting to send out informations regarding the status of our applications by the end of this month” and to keep monitoring our emails for further updates.

I also asked what they aspects of the application are most imp and they said he always recommends “a strong academic history, strong hesi score, and volunteering experience” but that there are many factors associated with the application.

I finally got an email from Texas Tech informing me that my application is complete and now all that's left is for the application to be reviewed by their admissions committee. From there on they will send out invitations to their highly qualified applicants to interview. I'm sure it's the same email you got. At least now I can relax knowing my application is at least being considered. Now all that's left is for us to wait. I've completed all my pre reqs or at least I hope they will accept all my classes. lol

Yes it’s the same one! I’m glad to hear that you don’t have to worry about I felt the application process was kind long and confusing I had never applied through nursingCAS. Me too I’ve completed all my pre req but I’m retaking a&p as I got a b and another program wants for me to have an a and I’m also taking medical terminology, I know the wait kills me too Part of me doesn’t want to get my hopes up but I really hope we can get an interview and i hope not to many ppl applied lol

well, I didn't receive the completed email from the school. My last email from the school was telling me to submit supplements to the school. hmm,....Should I worry..?

I don’t think you should, my friend hasnt received it yet either, I think they are behind that’s why it’s taking so long I feel like something happened this semester with the applications or something that is taking longer for them to update everyone’s applications, apparently they have to update one by one and from what I’ve heard a lot of ppl are applying ?like I told my friend I would give them a call maybe next week since this week I called and they said they were not reviewing them yet, I had also emailed cuz no one would answer at first and was told that we should be getting a response regarding the status of our applications by the end of this month, I’ve read other threats and it seems they are taking longer this semester, usually they would email status of applications like 2 weeks after due date and then 2-3 weeks later email to see if you got a interview, also I was told that interview emails should be out at the beginning of March I’m thinking like by the second week or so. I saw on another post that it takes about 4-6 weeks to receive a response regarding interviews.

Thank you for your details. I check my email every hour.. haha.. I am so nervous and agitated. Hope we can find out soon. Where are you taking medical terminology? Is it helpful? Right now , I am taking pathophysiology at EPCC.

I know what you mean I do the same I decided to check it once a day since I was going crazy checking multiple times lol I’m nervous too I really want to go to this school and i have already waited too long I’ve wasted so much time already :/ but I’m scared bcuz of all the competition I pray for an interview. I’m taking it at utep and it is really helpful! There is an online class too but idk about that one and it just helps you breakdown words to know what they are talking about like the root the suffix and prefix aswell as anatomical terms I do recommend it! Who r U taking it with? Is that all the pre requisites you need?

I was looking at my supplemental application to verify everything and saw the deadline got pushed to Feb 9! No wonder it’s taking longer!!

Of course not do not worry. I contacted the program last week and asked just to make sure (cause I was also worried) and they informed me that as long as Nursing Cas had received my transcripts my application would be fine. I just so happened to receive the email two days after. lol

Yes they pushed both application deadlines. They pushed the Nursing Cas deadline to February 4th (from its original Feb 1st) and they pushed the supplemental application back to Feb 9th(from its original of Feb 1st) which explains why it’s delaying the process. I keep checking my email every single hour as well it’s the most nerve wrecking experience. lol I just want to know already lol Although Im sure we won’t find out until March. I’m really hopeful that we will get an interview!
