Went down to HR and did the paperwork for my resignation as of the last day of school. Very bittersweet...I will miss the kids and many of my co-workers, but sadly my school has become somewhat of a toxic environment lately. I am also looking forward to being able be a stay at home foster mom, and hopefully soon to be adoptive mom if things work out.
I am hoping y'all won't mind me hanging around on the board still, I love this place!
ETA: My director of Health Services was sad to see me go, but she did understand. I hope to return in a few years once we've been able to adopt the kids we want, and they get a little older. They pretty much told me I'm welcome back as soon as I'm ready!
