I ordered a pink stethoscope the other day! I also ordered a pair of pink bandage scissors. Also, does anyone know how much the Hepatitis shots cost? I found a place in my hometown to get the TB shots for only $5. I'm getting my physical done at my regular doctor. My financial aid appointment is Wednesday. Hopefully I can get all of the money stuff taken care of!! Hope everyone had fun at Mike Linnig's tonight! I wish I could have been there! Can't wait to meet you all!! :)

my financial aid appointment is on the 11th.

are they gonna require me a certain amount of monthly payment even after being granted the Pell grant and getting the student loan done? i hope i wont have to pay any monthly payments.

hi leeroijaewon! i just went to www.amazon.com and searched for a pink stethoscope. it was only $13.99!! i don't really care about getting an expensive one until after i graduate. good luck at your financial aid meeting! i don't know what all happens at the financial aid meetings because i don't have mine until wednesday. i'm sorry i couldn't be of more help! :)

leeroijaewon I think it varies from person to person but alot of times i think the student loans and pell grant amount, if you qualify, cover the entire cost of the program. I have it set up where my payments don't start until after I graduate from the program. I pay nothing while I am in school. Hope this helps and good luck at your appt.

to everyone getting ready to start galen, dont buy any books , until they tell you the ones you need for sure. i graduate july 16, evening lpn, and when i started they gave me a book list, i ordered every book, spent $1000. and only ended up using 3 or 4 of them, and some of the books they ended up changing on us and we had to go and buy different ones again.. so wait!!!!!!!! be patient!!! and order them online, dont use edmap, its costs a lot more.. good luck to you all!!!!!!!

Thanks cnicholas!! I had my financial adi apt yesterday and tammy told me to purchase them quarterly due to changes.

yes, goin on to get my r.n., but not returnin there.. i just cant justify giving them $25,000 when then dont even have there sacs accredition. i will be going to ivy tech or jcc. gotta finish getting my pre-reqs before i apply to another program..
