Future Kaiser Students?

Published

Hello from a new member!!! I am really enjoying browsing this board.

I know interviews started this week at Kaiser. Has anyone here interviewed? If so, how did it go? Mine is next week, I think I'm probably last. Any responses from future or current students would be great!

Thanks!

I'm glad to hear how well it is going. No doubt all that hard work will pay off. The Kaiser decision letters were to be mailed today,so we should all know soon. Keep up the good work!

I cant stand the wait. I am so nervous. Good luck everyone.

With holdovers from last year, does anyone know how many available spots are available for this year's class?

Good Luck to all who interviewed!

I heard there are 5 holdovers from last year. So there are 30 spots available! Yikes! I'm checking my mailbox like a neurotic freak!

Got my letter today...I GOT IN!!!!!

Good luck everyone!

p.s. I live in Los Angeles, so the mail time is only one day for me! :balloons:

Nice one Susswood! I live in San Francisco. Hope mine comes Wednesday....

kdst and i are soooo jealous! we are anxiously awaiting our letters. hope they didn't put them on a boat! what did your letter say. did it come with an info packet? congrats!

It was a one page letter in a regular envelope. No packet. The letter was basic info...but they want my money now! I should send it while I'm still beaming!!!!!

Congrats to you all!

Since I just went to another counseling session, I was told that there were 6 held over and 29 spots and roughly the same will happen for next year.

Speaking of next year.....

At the session I didn't get much info except I was a "good applicant". Did you all have 4.0's? I asked about gpa, years of exp. etc and all they had to say was that I was well rounded and to apply again. Is it hopeless? Will I be forever stuck in limbo (read the didn't-get-the-top-80-points-on-my-resume-&-get-an-interview)? I am working now at Huntington Hospital (level II trauma/ teaching yada yada), plan to get my ccrn, rev up on the pharm, ochem, and anatomy/ pathophys etc and get another year added to the resume. Any other suggestions? I really want to go to the CSUF program!

Congratulation to you Susswood and lots of success, I am sure you will do great.

Congratulations, isn't it exciting? Thanks for the info on the letter, at least I won't drop dead in front of the mailman thinking I didn't get in because it is a regular envelope! :rotfl:

I got my letter today too. I'm pretty excited. Now I have to pull together

$3500.00. Who needs groceries right?

Susswood and Bullfrog,

Congratulations to both of you!!! :balloons:
