Hi everyone! Just wanted to get a topic started on FSW's Fall 2019 cycle. The application deadline is May 15th. Here are my stats:
When this spring semester ends, I will have taken 8 out of the 9 pre-reqs. (3.62 GPA) I plan on taking A & P II in the summer. I am also taking the TEAS for the first time in May. I am a little stressed that I'm cutting it too close to the deadline and taking the TEAS without A & P II. My #1 choice is Collier ANEW, #2 is Lee ANEW.
Anybody else out there applying for Fall?

I also called the nursing program and Wendy mentioned that we might take some of the pharmacology class on campus. So I was glad to hear that since I was most worried about taking pharmacology all online.
You can find the course information in the registration section of the portal. Go to "Plan Ahead" and there you can choose classes (without registering) to see what the schedule will look like.
NUR 1020 is the didactic/lecture class that is all online.
NUR 1020 L is the Clinical and Simulation lab. Clinicals will be on Saturday 630AM-600PM. Sim lab will be approximately once a month (total of 5-6 labs) and will be on Wednesday 5PM-10PM
*No Clinical on Labor Day weekend*
NUR 1025 is the practicum and is on Thursday 6PM-9PM
Pharmacology will be online, but testing will be done on campus. Hopefully they schedule the tests on the same days we will already be on campus.

This forum is very encouraging and would like to know what everyone applied with teas, how many completion of course, and GPA. I am taking the teas in November so that I can apply to FSW.
I had 84 points; all pre-reqs completed, GPA 3.4, TEAS 88%
