FSW Fall 2019

Hi everyone! Just wanted to get a topic started on FSW's Fall 2019 cycle. The application deadline is May 15th. Here are my stats:

When this spring semester ends, I will have taken 8 out of the 9 pre-reqs. (3.62 GPA) I plan on taking A & P II in the summer. I am also taking the TEAS for the first time in May. I am a little stressed that I'm cutting it too close to the deadline and taking the TEAS without A & P II. My #1 choice is Collier ANEW, #2 is Lee ANEW.

Anybody else out there applying for Fall?

That's a great GPA!

When this Spring 2019 semester ends I will have taken all the 9 pre-reqs with a (3.39 GPA). I am taking the TEAS for first time next week and if I do not score so well I plan to take it again in May. My #1 choice is Lee and my second choice is Collier. I am nervous and feel like I have to score at least an 85 on the TEAS to be in good standing.

I think you should be good since you are taking AP2 in the summer. As for the TEAS, I have no word since I have yet to take it. I will let you know how it goes next week.

I am new to this site. I am curious to know, can you still apply for the nursing program although you are just missing A&P 2/L. I am scared to apply and I plan to enroll in the summer course but won't receive a grade until after the application deadline? What do you guys think?

I have taken the 9 prereqs, and have a 3.39 GPA. I have a 77.3 on the teas. My #1 is lee, #2 lee ANEW and #3 collier. I am nervous and excited.

When this Spring semester ends I will have 8 out of 9 classes done (hopefully 9 if I can petition my humanities) with either a GPA of 3.48 or a 3.52, depending on the humanities. My highest score on the TEAS is a 75.3%, but I plan to retake it again in May. My #1 choice is Lee #2 Charlotte #3 Lee Anew

Hi, I am currently working on statistics but will have all 9 classes finished. If I get an A in statistics I will jave a GPA of 3.4. I am taking the teas test in May. I am also applying to scf as well. I'm hoping to get into one this fall.

The new policy requires both A&P 1 & 2 to be complete prior to application for the Nursing Program at FSW.

As stated, I am only missing A&P 2 and will be taking it in the Summer. My question is in the line of FloridaFutureNurse. Applying while working on the last requirement in the summer. I’m just curious if that can cause a rejection. My TEAS score is 91%.

Any advice on how to study for the TEAS? Jo2RN20, thats a really good score! what studying materials helped the most?

HI Cangles5!

I teach Biology so A&P (Science section) was super easy for me. I brought a TEAS book and paid for online exams to find my weaknesses and worked on them (math section).

Hi, I took my TEAS today and got the score immediately. My score is 82.7% and took 9/9 subjects. I have to tell you that you will have to study very hard for your TEAS if you are planning to take it this May before taking AnP II. There was a lot of questions about respiratory, circulatory, reproductive, and immune system, so I wish you good luck! I am also planning to apply to Collier FSW this fall.

Hey everyone! I’m a current level 2 student in the lee traditional program and I remember how many questions I had when I was in your shoes...my email is [email protected] if you have any questions. Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone -

I recently took my TEAS and I received a 78.1 % and I have a 3.1 GPA... Im extremely nervous, I know it's not an extremely competitive score and the fall semester is usually a lot harder to get into.. I want to get in so bad this semester. Any thoughts or suggestions?
