FSW FALL 2018
Hey everyone! Congratulations on graduating this semester! I'm hoping someone can answer my questions about ANEW level 3. We have 2 classes scheduled; women's health and health alterations. But since I'm in ANEW those 2 classes are labs. Can anyone tell me if those labs are run like simulations (every couple of weeks) or is it more like practicum (every week)?

FSW Fall 2019
Just received my "book" in the mail. I thought it was a on a CD, so I bought an external reader from Amazon. Open up the DVD case and it's.... a business card with an access code LOL. .. making a return today. For anyone wondering.. the access code is simple enough to register, as is the app -- VitalSource Bookshelf -- used on the computer/tablet/phone to read the textbooks. You can bring in the ATI code on the first day of class to get it set up with Edna or Wendy. Just make sure they are going to be in the office since we have class later in the evening. As for shoes at orientation. I'm probably going to wear white shoes and socks since that is the complete uniform we will be required to wear for our practicum, and they may point that out, but honestly I don't think they are going to make a big deal about it since it wasn't specifically mentioned. They haven't posted the syllabus yet ? I'm anxious to read it over too! Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

We purchase docucare after this semester. I’m pretty sure it’s similar to purchasing the ATI code

I'm a Fl resident at the Charlotte campus and for 10 credits my tuition was $2,055. Sometimes the cost per credit hour can be different depending on which campus you are attending.

Has anyone purchased the bundle from Lippincott directly?

A DVD case? So is that how we access the text? My computer doesn’t have a DVD drive. Is there not an app? Can you access the text on a tablet? And what was the cost of just the book bundle, not including ATI?

FSW Fall 2019
Hi guys! Just got off a conference call with both the Lee and Charlotte campuses. The books listed on the Canvas Orientation are wrong, those are for last semester. This semester all books will be from the publisher Lippincott and are E-books. You can get hole-punched loose leaf printed copies for $50 more. They will also have a physical copy in the library. There was some confusion about whether to purchase the access code through the bookstore or Lippincott’s website. One person on the call said the package must be purchased at the bookstore as each package is personalized for the campus and cheaper. However, when I read the titles offered online through the publisher they said those were the titles found at the bookstore. And as for the price, the bookstore didn’t answer so I was not able to determine if FSW will actually be the cheaper option. Both campuses will be looking into this, correcting Canvas, and sending out an email for clarification.

Asking because when I searched the ISBN given in the acceptance letter it was for a 36 month digital subscription, not a physical book.. but someone else said they went to the bookstore. I'm planning on coming FSW tomorrow about a few things, I'll ask about the books too and post response here.

Hep A vax is required. If you think you got it before but don’t have documentation you can have your titers checked via blood draw from a lab or health department.

Everything that is required is listed in CastleBranch.

Sounds about right. I believe the only place you can get the textbooks is online, right? It’s an access code? I saw it from the publisher for $999. Then about $500 for the ATI access. Did you buy the books from the bookstore? Are they actual books or digital?
