Hi! I personally am enjoying the ANEW program. Both the traditional and ANEW programs have pros and cons but so far I am enjoying school. We bought a bundle of online textbooks that are all under one website and we also bought an ATI bundle of textbooks and practice tests which is a different website

FSW is a lot cheaper and not as fast paced as Rasmussen. Also, FSW is accredited and has been since the beginning where as Rasmussen just became accredited a year ago. Therefore, FSW students are always able to find jobs a lot easier than Rasmussen students. This is also because hospitals know that FSW is a lot harder to get into where as Rasmussen accepts anyone who is willing to pay. Rasmussen offers information sessions that are around 2 hours long and they also give you a tour. I went to one and it was very helpful and everyone is really nice! If you are having difficulty deciding between the two I suggest you go to their info meeting. Best of look to you!

Yea they sell them in the fsw bookstore :) Make sure when you buy it, it has he nursing logo and not another program like the radiology program's logo.

I tried last week when I went to buy the ATI access code but they told me something along the lines that I financial aid for books doesn't kick in until August 5th

Thank you! and mine does say complete now BUT as of this morning it was incomplete. So I emailed Wendy (in the Charlotte campus) to make sure everything was alright and she said she was reviewing everything. So shortly after I got my acceptance packet yet on my castle branch my fingerprints did not say ''completed'' they were ''pending review'' they didn't change to completed till later today. I got mine done the 25th of this month so you should be cleared and get your packet soon. Good luck!!

Where in the portal did you find that information? And thank you so much for explaining! I also called the nursing program and Wendy mentioned that we might take some of the pharmacology class on campus. So I was glad to hear that since I was most worried about taking pharmacology all online.

Curious to see who else got accepted into the FSW ANEW program for fall 2019? ? I will be attending the Charlotte campus and don't know much about it!

The same thing happened to me, I was hoping to get into the traditional so I hope the ANEW one isn't too bad, I don't know too much about it
