FSW Fall 2015

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

Hey! I'm planning on applying to the nursing program in Collier for the Fall semester. I am sooooo nervous. I need to get it! Lol. I'll be taking the HESI next week and I've been studying everyday. Aiming for close to perfect! :D hehe But I wish you all luck!

Oh and any tips for the HESI? I'd really appreciate it :)

Good luck.

How many points do you have so far?

Hesi, make sure you study A&P and biology from lecture notes or books, study guide is too vague. If you have study guide book, almost everything is identical to book especially math. Grammar, make sure you study how to do: which sentences are grammatically correct and what word is used incorrectly. In my test there was alot.

I cant believe the deadline to submit application is 3 weeks away. So nervous and anxious. lol

Thanks!...and I'm really worried about my GPA due to slacking off in my earlier semesters...so I have 46 points (I still have to take the HESI, so I'm aiming for lots of points there)....but I'm soooo worried that I won't have all my points :( *sigh*......And I'm currently finishing up anatomy 2 so hopefully I'll do well and definitely focus on biology. Thanks for the tips :)

In collier county it isnt as competetive so you might get in. Good luck. Definitely review over biology notes like diffusion, osmosis, photosynthesis, meiosis and mitosis.

Naples girl, each allocation date is different! My nursing advisor will not say what number is safe because she said there are some semesters for charlotte that only accepted 90+ because of the applicants! 79 is not a bad score, but maybe retake the Hesi to see if you can shoot for the best score!

MamiLuv, is there anyway you can send me the new application information for the next fall application period that we were discussing before?

It's finals and I'm so nervous about applying!

Took hesi twice, both times same score, I'm going to apply for this fall and hope for the best.

Naplesgirl, good luck. Im sure you will get in.

Fingers crossed for all of us getting in.

I sent you a PM. I saw a thread for last application date and a girl got into collier with either a 63 or a 67 I can't remember which, so you might be good :)

Thank you! Fingers crossed! And good luck to everyone else here :)

Oh and I have another quick question about the HESI.....will there be fill in the blank answers (besides math) that I should be aware of
