Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.
Who is joining me next fall in nursing?
I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.
I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.
I made a video about my FSW HESI experience if anyone is curious/interested.
Great video. I finally had time to watch it. I hope you get in. When are you taking hesi again? I'm taking it may 13. After this semester is over, we should study together. I have kids too so I dont mind studying with them. Lol its hard but moms gotta do it. Lol
Oh I'm taking college algebra online, nutrition online, microbiology amd A&P 1 in campus. It's been a super stressful semester. Lol
Are you applying for part time? I want to do part time but then again I'm not sure. But hopefully we are classmates though.
slewis829.sl Did your friend tell you how many seats are available for the night program?
Last time I went to their orientation in Sept/Oct they say they 48 for lee day and 48 for part time at lee.
How's the college algebra online going? I'm pretty good at math I took statistics and received an A. I'd rather take it online this summer rather than having to go to campus so I can spend more time at home with my kids. Really 48 seats for night part-time Lee?!?! I feel really good about my 88 going in if that's the case although I am going to retake the HESI the 11th to get that 90.1 for max points. Sounds like the competition is fierce! : )

Im not good at math whatsoever. However, since I'm a stay at home mom, I try to take online classes as much ss possible. Anyways, if you do homework and look at power points and videos you should be good. They are informative. If you need help you can go to tutor center.
If they havent changed it then yes it should 48 seats. You could always email nursing director. They should know and are pretty quick to respond.
I hope to get at least 88 this semester. Im still missing two classes which im taking this summer. So far my score is in mid 70s with my hesi score. But I'm retaking it on the 13th. I know lots of people who are taking it on the 11th. Good luck.
Hello everyone! Am applying to the Charlotte campus for the full time program. I only have about 84 points right now until I retake the Hesi! Ah, it's all so nerve racking. I heard that each campus has 24 seats available with Lee having 48. 24 full time and 24 part time, but I hope you are right MamiLuv because that would make my chances so much better!

That is tough one. Not sure. I have heard the spring isnt so competitive. In the spring people were getting accepted with 82 but not sure about 79. In collier county I think you might be good though but you never know. As the lee campus is very competitive.
